I ran the Instagram account for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes at my high school. The main goal for this account was to spread the word to students about FCA by growing the following and increasing engagement. I began this profile my junior year of high school and grew it to a little over 400 followers by the end of my senior year. The account is still in use by the current FCA leaders.
1-2 posts a week on the main feed reminding people to come to FCA, giving a meeting recap, or announcing big upcoming events
Edited photos to enhance quality and present a cohesive theme
Utilized Instagram stories 2-4 times a week to post Bible verses, remind people about upcoming meetings, post meeting recaps, highlight videos, and announce the weekly speaker and devotional topic
Used an excited, playful, and welcoming tone to encourage people to come to FCA
Made sure content stayed aligned with the FCA brand (athletic, fun, exciting, humorous, wholesome)
